Welcome to the Roving Learning Horde!

Wait, what's a learning horde?

It's a group of smart people from various disciplines who are excited about learning things and want to teach each other and experience things with each other.

This group is being started by David Weekly and several others in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you're smart and want to learn and have something to share, YOU ARE INVITED!

We want people who are passionate about a subject to explain why it's so cool, provide some interesting takeaways, and engage others with the subject.

We'd like to build out a list of participants and potential topics first, and then we'll work on scheduling. The intent is for the first meetings to happen starting in early 2009.

NOTE: The January 24th meeting was canceled due to scheduling issues.

Please edit this page and make it better!

(move unsures to the bottom, weblinks to the top?)
